What This Extension Does
Screenshot Editor for Social Media - LumaStack is a Chrome extension that helps you capture, edit, and prepare screenshots for social media. Everything happens right in your browser, on your device.
The Data We Collect (And What We Don’t)
What We Store Locally On Your Device
When you take a screenshot, we save:
- The screenshot image (stored as a file in your browser)
- Webpage info to help you organize screenshots:
- The page URL and title
- Up to 2,000 characters of text from the page
- When you took the screenshot
- Your preferences (like whether Speed Mode is enabled)
Important: All of this stays on your computer. We never see it.
What We Collect For Analytics (Anonymous Only)
To improve the extension, we collect basic, anonymous usage data:
- Which features you use (e.g., “user took a screenshot”)
- If the extension crashes or has errors
- Performance data (how fast things load)
- Your settings (e.g., Speed Mode on/off)
What we DON’T collect:
- Your screenshot images
- Webpage content or URLs you visit
- Anything that identifies you personally
- Your browsing history
You can disable analytics in Settings if you prefer.
How We Use Your Information

Your Rights & Control
Delete Your Data
- Individual screenshots: Click the trash icon in the extension
- All data: Uninstall the extension or clear browser data in Chrome settings
- Analytics: Can’t be deleted (it’s already anonymous and aggregated)
When You Uninstall
All your local data is automatically deleted. We don’t keep anything.
Opt-Out of Analytics
Go to Settings → Turn off “Anonymous Usage Analytics”
